If your young rider drives in the Bacteria Infested Swamp mud (like we sometimes drive through), do wash your mini ASAP. That Swamp Mud stains the plastic very fast. For the "clean mud" (if there is such a thing), one has the luxary of washing their mini after every 4 trips. Non-Bacteria mud doesn't stain the plastic "as fast".
For other maintenance items, do check your manual. If you don't have a manual for your brand of mini-quad, please let us know your exact brand. There's many "free" online manuals that share simular recommended maintenance schedules.
Hope this helps....

When we first got our Pred-90, we washed it at the end of every trip. Just like a brand new car, we'd be out there with a magnifying class. The littlest dirt would "freak me out". Then, higher priorities in life hit us. Our Pred-90 only gets washed after we hit the swamp mud.
Probably explains why our Pred-90 often looks like:

If wondering, here's my baby:

Somehow, dirt & Trail Riding ATVs were meant to "stick together". So, why fight it????

take the seat off and cover the grips then carefully, spray wd40 on plastic before muddy rides then spray off with water after riding, everything comes off much easier, we used to do this every ride when we trail rode.
