PROGRESSIVE SHOCKS OR AFTERMARKET SHOCKS
#1
I own a 04 Honda Foreman 450S 4x4. The machine is a great machine to ride but the ride is kind of harsh. I have a bad back from an accident that broke my back several years ago. The Foreman is so stable its fun to ride, but it seems as though you can feel every little bump or ripple that you cross on a trail. I spend most of my time riding standing up on the floorboards. I am 6ft.3inches tall so that is not very comfortable. The Foreman also has two rear shocks unlike the rancher with only one shock on the rear. I have noticed our Rancher rides so much smoother. My question is "would the price of aftermarket shocks make enough difference in the ride to invest in a set? Approximately 400 bucks to replace all four, so it is not a cheap venture. " Has anyone tried the Progressive brand atv shocks?

My buddy has a Progressive on the back of his old Honda 300. He blew the stock one, and a Progressive was cheaper than a new stocker. The thing is TERRIBLE! It is way worse than his old stocker ever was.
