98 Foreman 450 ES 8500KMS and have'nt replaced anything yet on the front other than breaks. I just did my breaks all around last week, the front didn't need replaced but I did anyway. I checked everything over good greased everything up. I really have to say when you seal those drums they last along time. I sunk my 450es in a big swamp on last wednesday night. While I was trying to get at the winch it stalled because of water going in the exhaust pipe. The water was an inch from the top of the seat. I didn't think it was that deep when I started in. Anyways it swamped the motor and everything. I didn't want to fool around with it then because it was getting dark and I didn't want to be cold and soaked. So I left it there. We tried getting my buddys 4x4 truck out there but there was to much mud. I told him I would get it in the morn. So thursday morning I went out with my EX. Using my winch I pulled it out and drained everything. Air breather, oil, took spark plug out and drained by slowly pulling the motor over. As soon as I drained it, dried the plug and filter I put 2 liters of oil in it and it started right up. This thing sat in ice yes actually ice all around it, it was that cold. I got her all warmed up after a little drive and changed the oil again. Perfect. I can't beleive the punishement these things will take. But I was most impressed at my drum brakes that everyone says are so bad. They never took in any water at all. I take them apart once a year and grease the bearings, clean the brakes and reseal them. They work exellent and once a year isn't much to ask. To be honest thats all I do other than change the oil every 1000-2000 kms. Sorry for rambling on but I have put alot of kms on my quad and think that it was worth the money. I don't usually find I have alot of time to spare on maintenance chores and I'm not trying to knock anyones ride but I can say for a fact that If you want a reliable low maintenance quad I am totally impressed with my Foreman. By the way I was moose hunting at the time. Ride on.
