How would a racher 350 compare to a 300ex performance wise? Both stock. Like in a race, a drag race? Top speeds? I am not talking about mudding or trail riding so please dont post about that. Straight performance engine wise is what i would like to know.

 

In a drg race a 300ex will win. In top speed its about the same.

The 300EX, easily! To start with, it's something like 150 lbs. lighter than the Rancher. A 2wd Rancher might stand a chance, but a 4wd has a reduction gear to give it more low end power, and that cuts way down on top speed.

The Rancher is actually only a 329. The EX is a 282. (And, you can hop an EX up way more than you can hop up a Rancher.)
