I have a scrambler 400 1995 and i found a oil leak
between the two case halfs.
one underneath the counterbalancer and the other on top
underneath the carb. I was loosing the counterballancer oil thru the lower case but I managed to seal
it with rtv.the throttle is rough up to one third
from then on its running smooth.I tried to adjust the pilot jet on the carb
but it didnt do much.I performed the plug test and its brown color.
will you recommend to live it alone or tear it apart?
