My 2004.5 sportsman 500ho won't stay running it idles fine but when i go to give it gas it dies out i only have 20 hrs on the machine
All i did to it was an oil change can't see this having any thing to do with this thogh any ideas or sugestions would be helpfull

Check your choke cable ... my first 2004.5 the choke cable got stuck in the half on postion ... it would idle but die under load.
