Default New pics from the Hatfield McCoy trip

I just got back late last night from WV where we have been riding the Hatfield McCoy trails for a week, all I can say is WOW!!!!! I would recommend staying at the Browning Fork Trailhouse with owners Marty and Lisa Bucannon which is located 5 minutes from Gilbert, WV. there was alot of real technical trails and alot of variation/difficulty to deal with on the Rockhouse trail system which is one of the four legs of the Hatfield trails. one of the only things I would recommend anyone to do who is thinking of going down there would be to go down with an extra set of wheels/tires and make sure your tires are at least 4ply rated but 6ply would be best/preferred. alot of guys had popped/slashed/cut tires on the rocky trails and had to go to the next town to buy tires. I ended up riding 212 miles of the most difficult, steep, rocky trails I have ever come across and If not careful you could go head over heels backwards down the mountains and trails in a heartbeat with one wrong turn of the handlebars. I took 63 pictures from just my camera but could only fit 24 in my gallery but hopfully soon I will upload them onto my photobucket account but for now you can check out the ones I posted in my gallery. what do you guys think?

The badlands actually came home without a scratch on them surprisingly, I thought for sure I was gonna be going to town for some replacement tires due to all the huge sharp rocks in the trails and going up some very steep rocky inclines. I wish I could have stopped to take a few pictures of the steep rocky inclines we had to go up but I wasn't about to stop and try to get going up hill again. alot of the inclines were ***** to the walls to get up them. My buddy Jim that went with us had his 660 Raptor up on one of the back two wheels and almost flipped but he put his foot out and leaned forward and saved it. probably mostly due to him stalling it which I think saved his a$$ from chasing the atv down the mountain side.

the only damage I had was friday morning, Mike and I rode the trails heading to Gilbert and my belt started shredding and the pieces were coming out of the belt cover vent and blowing onto my shift lever, I had to go slow to get to gilbert where we stopped at the McDonald's for breakfast and then just took the road back to the Browning Fork Trail entrance to get back to the cabin. I woke up yesterday morning and removed my side panel, floor board and then finally the belt cover to find that my belt was still in decent shape but it was seperating and that the belt cover was being cut by the belt material as it was spinning around which caused the cut to go all the way through the cover. I called Weiss (my dealer) and he said come on up I'll have the lifetime replacement belt and a new cover sitting on the counter for ya. I went up there and traded my old stuff for the new stuff and he even gave me a new seal. the only problems with that is that I forgot to take my red drain plug out of the cover before giving it to him and the new cover doesn't have the polaris ebs decal on the belt cover but that's ok I am gonna get one made from I believe scramblerx.

Speaking of the polaris decal on the belt cover is scramblerx the one that made the decal that said something like bad a$$ toy? I had seen the decals a few months back in a post and forgot who makes them.
