Brute 650- 1st Oil change-Whats to use?
#1
I have my first 10hrs on my Brute Force 650. The dealer told me to change the oil at 10 hrs and every 100 hrs there after. What do you guys do? Also what filters do you use and what oil do you use? What do you do for a maintanace schedule? Should I buy everything from the local Kawi dealer or what is good to use?

Same general question. New Prairie 700. Salesman said take it into the dealership for its 10hr. maintanence check. Seems to me that even though I'm not very mechanically inclined I can at least change the fluids on my quad (or I damn well better learn). Any magic thing a dealer mechanic does that I can't at its 10hr. scheduled maintanence? I have a special attachment to $ and like to save it when I can. Not to mention the hassle of taking the quad into town.

I'm running the Bosh 3323 & fit is perfect. Don't overfilll. Prairies like oil level less than full or between half & full.
Happy trails!!!
