I recently bought an LT250R and put it together from pieces that I got from the original owner. As far as I know everything is stock except for the cylinder being bored .030. It seems to flatten out in the top end, even the lower end isn't all that impressive. It was worse until I leaned the mixture, but I don't have any idea on how to jet this carb(I just know it's the flat slide Mikuni). I plan on changing the exhaust and know that I whould wait until then to tune it but any suggestions I could get would be helpful (I have only built cars before so the 2-stroke is a new world to me). Also, anything suggestions on modifications to get the most out of it would be appreciated.

Check out http://www.geocities.com/kiwi_craig/LTRM.htm] Kiwi craigs LT page [/url]. the '86 RM cylinder will bolt right on and has much more aggressive port timing. Then get a new 38mm Air stryker and Paul turner Mid pipe and silencer. This will make your LT rip.
