Default Scrambler 500

Maybe someone can help me out. I have been looking for an ATV that I can ride on the trails and have some real fun with. I also must be able to plow snow with it. I had my search down to either the Sportsman 500 or the Arctic Cat 500 until now... I love the Scrambler 500 H.O. I see it has all wheel drive and can't find any more information on the specs as to wheter or not it can be equipped with a winch. This I assume would allow me to attach a plow to it. If anyone has any info for me it would be appreciated.

Thanks

I had a Scrambler 500 4x4 and yes you can mount a winch and a snowplow on the front of them. I was really impressed by it. I could do jumps and climb just about anything you put in front of it. And even for it being a bigger quad it still has plenty of speed and power. Too bad I had to sell mine. Oh well I think next year I will be able to afford one again. Hope this helps with your decision.

Thx for responding so Fast!!
I definitely have to get one now. Just one question. Was your Scrambler ok in the snow. I live in central Ontario and we get our fair share. On average I would probably be pushing around 4-8 inches of snow. Would you recommend the use of different tires or maybe chains? I'll read your answer and say thanks again for your information.

Yes I rode mine through just about everything. I think with 4-8 inches of snow chains may be a good thing.

I was all set to get snow chains until it snowed. My scrambler never slowed down and went through a surprising amount of snow. I decided I had no need for the chains. If you plow you may need them, not sure. But for riding around you should be fine!
