Which of these slip-ons would give you more power? Which is quieter? What is the sound level on the Pro Circuit 496? Is there an alternative THAT IS THIS QUIET that makes better power? Thanks!

 

what are you riding your foreman? I would go with the HMF with the quiet core or the mega max with quiet core.

 

This is for a future 400EX. I want to have all my mods figured out as I begin to need more power.

 

Go with the Pro Circut full system T-4. Good pipe around 98-99 Deciples. Not too loud has a nice rumble.

 

I'm really interested in the sound level and performance of the 496 though. There is virtually no information about it anywhere. Nobody is running it. I'm waiting to get the decibel information back on this DG that I heard this week because I like the sound level it had and that would tell me what my goal is.

 

i run the t-4 full system amd it is over the 102 db. the 496 is a great pipe. i saw one on a qaud at dumont a couple months ago and it was about 30 yards away and i could not hear it at all. i think it is aout 96-98 db. not sure about the fmf stuff. i dont like fmf stuff it look like poop to me.

 

496 looks alot better than the q it just looks less restrictive

 

30 yards away and you couldn't hear it? WOW. Are you sure 96-98 dbs sounds accurate for something like that?
