Default tie rod end boot recall for trx400fga

I checked mine and they seem to be ok. should i take it in anyway? Will they replace them no matter what or will they leave them if they are ok?

Another question: How long should i wait to take my machine back in for the initial valve adjustment and do i have to do it just once or what?

Has anyone had any problems with their rancher AT? I've had mine in the shop already (apprx 100 miles) for a plugin pin leading to the angle sensor.

I have a Rancher AT and have had no problems with it at all. I love it (700 miles and counting)...does everything I ask of it. As for the recall, you should get it done...it's free and you'll get new parts, even if there's nothing wrong with the originals. As for the valve adjustment, if you hear a pinging/ticking noise you should probably have it checked.

Hope this helps!

Dan

Yes, call your dealer for parts availability, then set up an apointment for when they have them in stock. The technitions have been instructed in the proper proceedure for handling the recall on your unit.

Yes, keep the valves adjusted as advised in the owners manual for scheduled maintanance.

Problems with the 400at are very very minimal
