If i dont adjust my valves and them might need to be adjusted what can happen..can i mess something up with my engine or something...i dont have the money now but in the long run dont want to mess up a really expensive motor like down the road have problems...

 

if your valves arnt ajusted it will cause your cam to ware and that will make you loose power and once the cam gets really worn you will probally feel a huge power loss. your susposed to ajust the valves every 4 to 6 months, when was the last time you ajusted them? this might suck but if its been a while since you ajusted them your cam might already be bad. not shure if theirs any way to tell besides notciing a power loss, youll have to ask greg about that 1

 

Depends on wether they are too tight or too loose.
If they are too tight, it will cause the valves to not seat , and this wont allow them to release the heat built up in them, and they could deteriorate and not seal anymore.
If they are too loose, mainly they just make noise...it isnt really that harmful, unless the clearance is grossly big.
You dont have to pay to have it checked. It isnt that difficult to check, and if it needs adjusting, then you could decide if you want to tackle it or have someone else do it.

 

thanks man im gonna just have them checked out..see what they say...also i dont feel anypower loss..if anything i feel like i have more power...will the valves no being adjusted right effect how my quad starts and how good it runs..cuz it runs great now and gives me no problems...
