I was just wondering for future refference what is a good tire choice for a 500 Suzuki quadrunner. I'll be using the stock tires until they wear out but then I want something more aggressive. I don't have the ability to be able to ride in mud for the majority of the time so I don't know if getting Vamps, Blackwaters, 589's, Tri-Claws would be a good choice. I'll mostly be riding in the woods and mountainous terrain and through some rocky sections, creeks, and of course the occasional mudhole. I've read that the tires I mentioned tend to wear out quickly when not ridden in muddy conditions all the time like when you ride the hardpack and such. Tire wear is a factor in my decision because I'd hate to spend a lot on tires only to buy new ones sooner. I know it's hard to get the best of both worlds but I figured someone here would be using there quads and tires for the same setup as I will have for hunting and just 4 wheeling through the nasties.

A lot of people like the Titans that come on the Artic Cats, and the Kenda Bearclaws and the GoodYear Mudrunners (even though it's a mud tire, it rides well). The other pure mud tires you mentioned are not the greatest "all-around" tires.

I know u said blackwater is a strictly mud tire but think its a good all around tire and it does have a long tread life on hardpacked trails
