I finished putting a couple of final touches on the 800 last night, and I must say I am very happy.
I placed a rectifier diode between the yellow and green wires located under the headlight pod coming from the handlebar switch....
I also placed a toggle switch between the grey/orange wire going to the speedo head and ran a black wire to the grounding block located under the headlight pod removable panel.... (Sort of hidden behind a realy block, has a gold torx going threw it, and a bunch of brown wires tied into it.) The toggle works great when you need it, and is turned off when not needed, and I need to access my functions with the yellow button.

Next mods:
Gots to get me some hand and thumb warmers, a nice loud horn, and my led light bar that I haven't found a spot for yet?

I will try and add pictures someday...

If anyone is looking to do the mods I may be able to help you find the right parts and walk you through it?
Jon

If you add some switches, be sure to check out my site for OEM matching ones.

I was going to contact you, and thank you for your pics....
You have helped me out considerably.
The reverse over-ride was a life saver today... and I didn't get a chance to burn all 2 light bulbs.... but it will come in handy!
Have you ever fried a winch?
I toasted my 2500 lb warn today, pulling out of a river bank?
I actually saw sparks flying.
Warranty should cover it... Just need to pull it apart to find out if it was relay related.

Thanks again!

No, we dont run wichnes. We use straps as winches take too long and are dead weight around here.

You can find the 3-headlight mod diode pack and reverse override here, plus a bunch of other Polaris stuff.
