Curtis Sparks is in Bakersfield.

Kenz Cycle Tech is in Mesa, AZ.

Those are two of the best builders in the sport, but I'm sure there are mechanics closer. If all you need is a cam and piston installed you can have any small engine shop take care of it, its a fairly simple process.

Tony, you've had your DS down and apart many times (when you had one). Your Rhino is a simple project to put a piston and cam into. You know you can do it. I doubt there are many that will do it in record time for you. Not sure where La Habra is but Trinity racing is off the 91 between the 55 and 57 I think. Probably any Yamaha shop will do it I'd guess. I'm sure Trinity is safe for just an install job. I thought you were selling the Rhino and getting a fancy rail anyway?

Well the guy I am hooking up with the Rhino wants the mods done. So he asked me if I can find someone to do it. Yeah, I know I could do it myself but I just don't have the patience anymore. Still not sure about the Rail yet, I am going to Pizmo over Memorial weekend and test the one out that I am supposed to buy. If i don't like it I have the option of having one built with an LS1 motor for the same price.

Well hello Mr Crabby Butt...

He wanted builders close to him, I listed some within feasible driving distance and also suggested he look for smaller, closer shops if he was only looking for simple work. Both make great bikes. I said they were two "OF" the best builders in the sport. I didnt say a single bad thing about your precious CCR, I just figured since it was half way acrossed the country and he was looking for a local builder that CCR really didnt need to be mentioned. Bob and his crew do a lot of good work, I just didnt feel that it was relevant in this thread.
