Default HELP..SPORTSMAN REVERSE LIGHT ON IN LOW...

Maybe this new title will get more hits : thanks WGMARQ

1999 500- when in neutral, the reverse light is on too, when in low, reverse light is on and i have to use the override button to go faster than 2 mph, in high it is fine, in reverse it is fine. only neutral and low is the reverse light constantly on and causing the use of the override in low gear. please help.. thanks, PB500

Maybe that wasn't the problem after all, oh well. Have you tried cross posting ?

Changing the name on the post didn't seem to help get you an answer. Have you tried ATV Frontier someone there might be able to help.

Default HELP..SPORTSMAN REVERSE LIGHT ON IN LOW...

I had a 1999 Sportsman 335 that did the same thing. I turned out to be the switch in the shifter. Hope this helps
