Default Shedding weight

Any tips on how to lighten an 85 es besides taking the racks off?

aluminum wheels, lighter handle bars, and those type of things but those are very minimal weight sheddings. and you arent going to gain much from doing them unless you like drag with it or race it

Default Shedding weight

Performance exhaust pipes are usually a way to shed some weight, but ultimately it IS still a Big Red. You can try and make it lighter, but you'll never make it light. You can't make silk purse out of a hog's ear.
