I rode up a river about 2 miles. The water was anywhere from a few inces to 2 1/2 feet deep. I was in the water for about 3 1/2 hours and never had a problem.

the seal on the belt housing is good. Haven't really ever heard of anyone having problems with that ever. The thing with the grizzly is the transmission intake vent is right under the hood, and if you drive it hard into water and make a wave go over the hood of it, it will go right down that vent into the transmission. Thats where your slipping comes from.
