Homemade lift kit??
#2
I've never built a lift, but I had the highlifter lift kit on my 300. It isnt a whole lot to the lift kit. simply make a very solid spacer with a hole all the way through in the bottom(which mounts where the shock used to on the bottom mount) then make another hole in the top and mount the shock there. You can make the spacer as small or large as you would like but be careful not to make it really large, you will ruin your CV joints. I think on the 450's lift from HL there is also a support bracket which gives it more stability, bolted to the brake drum or something in that area. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. That will work on the front but the highlifter was the one I was kinda modeling mine after and it said something bout rotating the axle on the rear lift. does anyone know how this is done?
