Default 22" rear tires - impact on bearings

Someone said to me the other day "those big bear klaws may be messing up your bearings". I didn't know how to answer this. They are heavy as heck though with the ITP steel rims. Should I be concerned about the lifespan of my bearings with these tires? I haven't heard of this before. Thanks.

So, I'm assuming you're running those big tires on your Raptor. Yes, it is likely that those tires will create premature wear on your bearings not only on the axle but the swingarm bearings, shock bearings, etc. I'm comparing this to say the same Raptor with 20" rears. The bigger concern is your clutch. Those heavy wheels and tires are really putting a huge load on that stock clutch. Chances are that the clutch will wear long before the bearings give you trouble.

That's good to know. Thanks. I knew the clutch would be a problem so I dropped a tooth in the front sprocket to bring it closer to stock gearing.
