250x questions

ok i have a 92 honda 250x and i want to get a 400ex carb is that good. i want to get a whitebros pipe instead of the junky dg one/ also i want lots of bottom end sowould the best thing be a stroke kit(if they make one) also what else should i do to it cuz i want bottom end. thank for any answers

Go to Powroll.com. They have a nice stroker kit that pushes the 250 to 313 I believe. If you want bottom end a stroker is the quickest way to do it, just not the cheapest.
As for the carb, the bigger the bore the more top-end power. I would think stay with the stock 32 mm carb.

250's and 300's have many interchangable parts.. the only difference on the 250 stroker is that its a little bit longer for the kick starter.. i put a 250x stroker in my 300 .. but you can't go the other way with that

hey dont go with the stroker kit its a waist of money + dont go with the white brothers pipe dont like them go with the yoshe or any of the FMF pipes. oh by the way trackor packor the stock carb is a 28mm I know b/c thats the one that came off of my 250x when it was stock!! if you want the bottom end without spending alot of money go one tooth down on the front sprocket.or spend about 2000 doing what i did and be beside the 400ex or dont its your choice. well i wouldn't get the stroker kit b/c it tears motors apart fast makes them not reliable also i think you half 2 run race gas not sure but if you do that can get alittle $$$$$.. so here is what iv done 2 mine oh also have you thought of lightening the bike like im doing right now like A-arms, axle, swing arm, shocks all of that stuff???
also you can get a tourqe cam that would help!!

thanks man i guess i wont go wit the stroker kit but i will look at a that cam also one tooth down and other way i can get bottom-end not to worried about topend anymore
