I was wondering what a good quad would be to buy for racing (nothing between 03 and 05 cuz i dont plan on spending more than maybe $3500) at the same time i realize that the YZF450 and the 450r are good for racing but cost a lot of $$$ so does anyone have any other ideas for a good racing quad? anything would help and i'd appreciate it

well if you look hard like in cycle trader or go 2 the atv dealer then you can get a 400ex tricked out for about that much mabe 4000 to 4500 thats what im saying i have seen some pretty trick 400ex's for in your price range though try that!! do you have one right now(an atv) how tall and how much do you weigh? you can find a warrior tricked out for that much! or a really trick blaster in my oppinion i really dont like them though. i know you can find a Banshee for that it might be stock or mildley trick but her there fast!!

 

thanks. I was looking at a banshee but wasn't sure about the advantages and dis-advantages of the 2 stroke and the 4 stroke. Oh yeah, another question are the Raptors good for MX? I would be doing mostly MX.

ya your pretty big try and find a raptor or 400ex id go with the 400ex (imo) not the shee b/c the cranks go out in them alot and there really expensive 2 work on b/c you got 2 work on both sides the twin cylinder.
