i have an 87 honda 250x can u reccommend rear tires for ridin in the snow and would paddel tires work well in the deeper snow

I have hear Realtors are pretty good. But have you just tried chains on your regular tires. Went riding with a friend this past weekend and he had a 300ex with chans and didn't have any problems and some of the hills had a good slope to them and he just had stock tires.
