Hello I'm new to this forum and I have some questions about my wifes trailblazer. I am trying to find out about switching the spring on a stock 02 trailblazer. I did a search and I found some posts about a white spring. What do I have to do than just switch the white spring with the stock spring? And what color is the stock spring? What kind of spring do I ask for when I go to the Polaris dealer just a white spring will they know what I'm taking about? Any help would be great thanks.

 

When you go to the dealer to get the white spring tell him you need a primary spring for a 2000 400 Scrambler.It is simple to change you take the clutch cover off then use a piece of wood in the clutch and remove the six small bolts the remove the big bolt and ther ethe spring is.To insall reverse what you did.The big bolt torques at 40 ft lbs and the small ones at 17 ft lbs( I go to 20)

The wood is to stick down through the clutch and rests on the floorboard so when you losen the bolts the clutch dont turn with you. I use a long extension. The spring costs about $20. The stock spring is a blue/green spring and the spring that you will get is a plain unpainted with white marks on it.

 

Just picked up white spring and put it on. I guess it was simple. Alot better take-off with this spring,thanks alot for the help guy's.
