i am in the construction and demolition industry and have a new job in olathe kansas. flew out on tuesday in the jet and am back home packing all my stuff for my 6 month stay. for the first 2 months it is just going to be me setting up the job and will have weekends off and need a place and new friends to ride my sportsman. my riding buddies at home are all bummed out, but i get to ride in a new state. any help or new contacts would be nice. have a great summer and ride those quads and find some mud. dan-o

Welcome to the area. I live just east of kansas city. I work at a grain elevator so I will be very busy with harvest for the next 3 weeks or so but plan to try to get some riding in if possible. pm me and I will let you know when and you are more than welcome to tag along. There is a lot of places around to ride just do some searches in the forums and you will find them. I mostly ride on the Missouri side some of the areas I go to are, St Joe State park south of St Louis, Deepwater south of Clinton, Finger lakes north of Columbia, and my favorite Chadwick just SE of Springfield. I also have several hundred acres of private land I can ride on. I know there is several places around the Ks lakes that there is posted riding areas.

i made to kansas and it is hot out here. but i am busy and am looking forward to doing some riding. any good riding near olathe ks. have truck and trailer. i have already travel 824 miles and a few more will not hurt me. thanks dan

many thanks to jason and mark for taking me to deepwater today. i had a great time until the sportsman decided to have an electrical problem. white smoke coming out from under the hood. sorry to end the good time that we were having boys. but be ready next time.

 

Danno, I guess things could be worse It sounds like Elkbow had a pretty bad day. I had good day of ridding and the fix will last til next time If you need any help fixing your bike let me know, we'll grab Mark and make a party of it. We can do it at my house or Marks, garage has A/C and a nice set of tools.
