Default If a cop takes my quad..

if i get stopped and a cop takes the quad.. can i get it back? at what cost?

That definitly stinks,probably laws are different from state to state and as long as you didnt use it when commiting a felony offense(as a get away car for a bank robbery)you can get it back after paying the inpound fee.Depending if you old enough,you may have to have you parents go pick it up with you.Good luck

well up here he can take the quad if he really wants to...because of illegal things u did... and impound it...you will then have to pay a fine and pay to get it out prob........

depends on your state laws. Around here if you are riding on posted land there is no getting it back!

Depends....Here in CA if they take it they'll probably impound it and won't let your get it for a set number of days and charge you to much to get it back.

If you werent doing anything illegal, you shouldnt have to worry about it. I used to ride on public roads and now I think of how stupid I was and how uncaring I was of the people around me. I ride every weekend now at a track about 25 minutes from my house. Sure it was hard to go from everyday riding to twice a week, but your safer, respectful, and LEGAL.

impound fee here is around $200 + $5 a day for storage..
