i had the 170 to start then dropped to 165 main and the power was not there i ran 162 most of last year last ride was 5000ft it seem to be okay on the bottom and mid just would not rev to 7000rpm

with the mid pipe it just might not want to go to 7000. If you are trying to get your shift rpm to 7000 then you need lighter weights. I wasn't sure if you were trying to hit 7k at full shiftout or if you were looking at 7000 for a shift rpm.

I believe that Rick had told me that the mid pipe was only supposed to go to around 6500-6600 for max power. It sounds like your right on. His top end pipe would be closer to what your looking for, or HPD's trail pipe would get to to around 6800-6900. As long as when the bike jumps to 6500 that it launches good and holds that RPM as it accelerates then your right on the money. Sounds like you could use a little more compression to help out. Bubba
