sp 800 vent tube

Hi ereryone, there is a long plastic tube on the back of the atv. Mine is umplugged, it looks like a vent to me, can't figure where it goes. Any ideas?

if it's a long clear plastic tube it's the vent/overflow for the battery. be sure it's hooked-up![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

look's like it, what is a battery vent? and where does it hook?

There are three posibilities. Could be battery vent (top or bottom), rear final drive vent, or transmision vent. More than likely its the battery vent. Its not a sealed battery so it has to be able to breath.

Hi guys, i went to the dealer yesterday and the sp 800 as a sealed battery. The tube must have been placed there by mistake.
