in addition to having my 200x i also own a 1950's wheel horse lawn mower thad my dad bouthgt me when i was 5 it sterted off having a 8 horse briggs engine in it. but since i was 5 he took off the deck and put a 2.5 briggs in it and then when i was 7 he used the 8 horse to put into a gokart that he built from scratch for me but i blew it up any how back to the tractor when i was 14 i put a 5hp briggs in it woo hoo right lol... any how i was resently thinking about placing my 200x engine into it at witch point i would have a mean 15 speed with reverse but i would probabily only be able to run it in sand what doo you guys think of this idea... by the way i can fit any tire on it that fits on a 15x8 inch rim let me now bye......

How do you figure on having a 15 speed with reverse out of a 200x?????

And 2nd, do you know how stupid that thing would look at the dunes? You would need an extended rear, because even my POS mower wheelies if I let it out fast (Ive flipped it twice)

This project would be something for a really really really really bored out of his mind about to go insane person. and even then it would be ridiculous.(sp)

no you guys are a tid bit confused its all horisontal shaft drive. i was going to link my chain from the x 5 speed tranny into my tractors 3 speed tranny there by giving me 15 gears and reverse. posted a photo that is a little closer to what mine looks like but my drive is on the other side i would also legnthin and drop the front to about 3 inches off the ground talk to me know boys.

 

I have to say I love the look of that tractor(Someday I want to restore some old tractors). I will tell you that your crotch will stay plenty warm with a 200x sitting in there, LOL. You thinking may be a little off on the 15 speed idea though. That 3 speed gearbox is geared for torque, You will be lucky to get much speed out if it (IF you don't chunk it from the HP in the 200x). If you go with the idea, I would like to know how it turns out.

 

i was planning on compensating for that with my sprocket selection and as for wether or not i burn it up i guess ill never know cause im kinda being forced to sell due to some finacial problems. but any how ill still be lurking the threads to try to help people my self thanks to all. if any one wants a 200x that is real costom and with decent power around michigan let me know and ill get some pics up. i hope to ge $1500 bye.
