reverse blinking and stalls out raptor 660

i just got a 2002 660 raptor and the reverse light started blinking when i was riding then it stalled out like it was running out of gas. it took about 15 minutes to restart it and today the same thing happend when it was idleing and it stalled out again? i am clueless?

Is it bone stock? The stalling out part, might be your jetting, I'm don't have a clue about the reverse light blinking though.

You either have a bad or dirty connection on your reverse switch or your switch is bad. There are 2 wires down by the shifter, The one with the phillips screw is the neutral switch and the slip-on is the reverse switch. You can either get a kit to bypass the switch, disconnect the slip-on connection to the switch and ground it out or replace the switch. The light blinks because of one of the above reasons and activates the reverse rev limiter. It is a common problem.

its not the carb,its the connection for the reverse switch, located next to your front sprocket the connection is dirty, pull the little plug off their and clean it.. good to go.
