i was just wondering if u have any problems keepen up with people in a group of like(raptors,yfz,z-400and warriors,etc) and if u can total own them what mods or what do u have to give u the edge.

 

through the woods i can keep up with anything on my stock 400. MX i am not the greatest so i cant say there. around the flat track i can keep up with the rappy because either the machine or the rider cant take the corners as fast as me. as far as the Z its a pretty close race everywhere. the 450s pretty much walk on me everywhere but the trails!!

 

I don't have any problems keeping up with piped Raptors, Predators or Kfx/Dvx/Z400s. In fact they aren't to happy that I usually pull away from them. My quad is a little bit quicker than a Raptor with basic mods, that being full exhaust, air filter and rejetted. I can't say anything about the new 450s as I have never seen one that wasn't in a showroom. My mods are in the sig. If you are on tight trails you should be able to keep with them with basic mods. If you are riding on open ground where you are in the top gears alot then you are going to need to get some motor work done.

 

with my bike, and mods the arent in my siggy i own yfz's over whoops. full suspension goes a long way

 

Depends on the rider im ridin or racin with and the warrior shouldnt even be in that group. I can hang with some D and C class YFZ and TRX riders.

 

the only place 400ex don't keep up is on top speed but it accelerate faster than many quad until 4th or 5th speed
