Default hot seat pipe jetting for scrambler 500 2005???

Well,i did everything i could to make it idle right but nothing works.I have a 162.5 main jet and a 42.5 pilot in there...It run great (little backfire on deceleration, its not lound i think it is normal?)but as soon as i let the throttle it shut...So i tryed to adjust the pilot screw on the recommendation of a guy in here and it did nothing at all,i still have to give it gas to make it idle. When i installed the pipe last week i tryed it with the 162.5 and stock 40 pilot and it ran great(i mean no problem on idle),at that moment i was affraid that it was too lean but the plug looked ok...(had backfire on deceleration thought)...I spent the entire afternoon messing with the carb and different jets combo and different setting on the pilot screw and nothing works.I must admit im not familiar with jetting a carburator so maybe i miss something?Whats wrong guys?

should have probably just adjusted the idle screw a little instead of the pilot/air/fuel screw, with the leaner(40) pilot it may have idle just a little faster at idle but you really didn't have to worry about being to lean with the 162.5 main jet. Somewhat common to have a lean backfire on decelration( at least almost every hot seat pipe i have has a small one.) maybe go back to the first setup you had when it ran good, what does hot seat recommend for jetting? they are normally pretty close with very little adjusting needed.

i finally got i right this evening...jetting was ok with the 42.5 pilot and 162.5 main,it might be a little rich but its ok for now.It was the throttle cable freeplay.I had to unscrew on the etc and screw on the carb.It seems to hit WOT faster than before,is is possible?i might have to re-ajust the freeplay again.
