I was looking on ebay and found this used tvi 720 kit EBAY tvi 720 kit

Could I just pull of my stock jug/head change the piston and reassemble? I noticed he said the head is fly cut to accept the piston, is there a way to get a lower compression piston in there to run w/o having to track down race gas? (maybe a low compression JE?)

I am always looking for cheap mods, but maybe this isnt even worth it? Any opinions on this are appreciated!

hah wow it ended minutes after I posted this. It is now relisted with an even cheaper buy it now. wait...now that has ended too...hmm.

We can just let this thread fall off the first page now (I doubt I will see another used big bore for awhile lol) Might just stick with new cams/piston/carb.

 

I have one in my garage just sitting there. It is the TVI with the 11:1 pistion. You don't have to run full race gas in that. PM if you have questions.
