Default Throttle cable mystery

Well im down to getting the fluids in and throttle cable on the lectron working and I will be able to see if she will start. I cant figure out how to get it hooked up right. It looks to me like the cylinder shaped end goes to the lectron and the ball end goes up to the throttle. But the threads are different on the cable going into the moose throttle. They are the same size mind you but the threads on the cable are more like machine threads (flat on top) and the threads on insert that came with the throttle are coarse. I think I could force it on but everything so far on this build has been really smooth. Has anyone else had this problem? Im wondering If they sent me the wrong cable.

Man dont you just love that stupid look on their face when they get beat. The part I like is watching them go back to the trailer and screw with the jetting because they just know somthins wrong.
