I recently installed the green spring, DG pipe, Uni air filter with air box mods, and rejetted the carb on my '99 TBoss 250. Runs great but seems to freewheel (coast without throttle) further than before the mods. Is this typical? Do I need to change the secondary spring, helix, or weights? Any thoughts?

It did for me. I actually decided on the white spring. Had most of the benefits of the green spring. Seemed to hold on longer before it 'let go' than the green spring when de-accelerating. To see the actual numbers, go to the post xplorer xperiment to see the differences. I could see where alot of guys like the initial take-off of the green, though.
