yfz450 Long travels?
#1
i know that this type of thread has been posted many times, but i am in the process of getting long travel a-arms and suspension along with and extended axle and other things. i am leaning toward elka quad rates for suspension, but i am still not sure about the a-arms. money is not a really big deal, but i don't want to pay an extreme amount. any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You need a set of Lt Housers. the red ones would look smokin on your quad. I just got Houser LTs (.5) with Elka elite quad rates. and added the LT rear linkage as well. Your quad looks like its setup for XC. that set-up would work awesome for you.

i'm in the process of turning my 450 into an mx quad. i used to ride trails only and have recently gotten into racing, and i am getting the long travels and suspension and other things that go with it. i do like the housers and would like to know where the best place is for deals on them. one of my friends has housers with elka quad rates and says to get them, but my other buddy has lonestars with elka quad rates and says he likes his better. so i'm not sure just yet, but i am leaning toward the housers. thanks for the help guys.

thanks for all the help, but we went with a lonestar front end and quad rate elkas. one of my buddies dad's found a good deal on the lonestars, so my dad and i went with that setup. i'll post some pics when i get it all on, but it will be a couple weeks. thanks again for the help.
