Default Bad day for the warrior

Well I was getting ready to go for a drive on my 93 warrior. When I started it up it sounded like it was stuggling to turn over then it just fired up, I probly shouldn't have tooken it out but I did anyways. Then we got driving for 45mins and I shut the bike off, when I went to start it again it wouldn't do anything, didnt even try to turn over no noise or anything. Then I put it in neutral and pushed it about a foot and then tryed again and then it fired rite up so I took it home. I thought it might be the battery was dead so I put it on the charger, it was pretty low on power but its charged now and it still wont do anything, only way it will start is if I get towed by another bike and jump start it. I plan on taking it apart tomorrow but could someone tell me what they think it could be
Any help would be great
thanks

It is very possible that it is the selonoid that may need tapped or replaced. It could still be a battery leak or maybe the generator that charges the battery while you ride.I would have to say either the starter or the selonoid.

next time it does that, tap on the starter with a hammer (if you can get to the starter) while holding the start button. If then it starts turning over, it needs a new starter. The brushes in the starter are sticking and not making contact.

also, if the solenoid is mounted externally like my Rancher by the battery or whatever, use a screwdriver and short it across the two BIG terminals of the solenoid, one goes to the battery and one goes to the starter post, shorting it will route power from the battery to the starter bypassing the solenoid and switch WARNING: MAKE SURE BIKE IS IN NEUTRAL, THE STARTER WILL TURN OVER WHETHER THE KEY IS ON OR OFF OR IN NEUTRAL OR IN GEAR. if it works and turns over fine, you might need a new solenoid.
