Default Thinkin about a Warrior....any advice?

Ive been thinkin about buyin a warrior mainly because they're cheap...I want something thats somewhat fast though. Are Warriors very fast? Could it keep up with a 400? Are they very reliable? ....any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Default Thinkin about a Warrior....any advice?

A few years ago i bought a Warrior it was a very fun quad, very reliable, and it was quick. Warriors are not very fast compared to todays standards by any means. A Warror can keep up with a Honda 400EX, but it would have trouble keeping up with a Z400 beacuse the Z400 has more horsepower than the 400EX and the warrior. As far as top speed goes mine toped out at 64 mph with only a slip on so their decent. I had the Warrior for two years, and out grew it so i got a Raptor 660R which is my favorite quad by far. A warrior is also a great beginner quad. Hope this helps!

Very dependable quad, a good buddy has one he has had since 1990 and it still runs good, had to have one rebuild last summer, it ran good up till then just was using oil awefully, as for power it runs alright, his wouldnt keep up with the 400EX i had stock for stock but maybe the newer ones run a lil better i aint for sure.

It will keep up in the trails and thats about it. They can sorta keep up with the 400's but if you are looking for inexpensive then get a used 400 ex. You can find some good ones for around 3k and those are better all around then a warrior except the warrior has reverse and is built like a tank, but the honda is reliable too
