top speed on raptor

Default top speed on raptor

i was wondering what the top speed was on my rappy,my speedometer said 98 mph down a hill but i think its lieing

Speedometer? Alot of people claim a Raptor will do 80+ from the factory, but more realistically it's upper 70's.

stock raptors do 75mph, wel thats what i have read in loads of forums and online quad tests, and it seems to me to be right as i ahve a raptor aswel.hope it helps

Typical stock raptors do 75. Ive seen one stock raptor do exactly 80 with a trailtech. it all depends on rider weight and conditons (humidy, elevation, tire pressure...ect) Figure 75 stock.

Piped, jetted, no airbox, I've managed 76 out of mine, slight downhill

Yeah that's bullcrap, considering you only have a pipe, that wont give you too much top end. Your raptor may be doing mid 70's, but also do you have stock gearing?

Default top speed on raptor

Top speed depending on conditions and rider weight is determined by averages of numerous runs over the same terrain repeated adnuasium. Tires will have a lot to do with it also. So 75 as an average is about correct.

70's is nonsense...

I've clocked a 2003 bone stock 660r with normal tire pressure, airbox cover on and at a level runway with a 160lb rider at 83mph
