The Rappy's (660 and 700) have a speed sensor on the output shaft that feeds the data to the CDI. WIth a stock Raptor, stock tires and stock gearing the CDI retards timing to prevent speeds above 75. The limiter can be over-ridden, but 'stock' it is what it is.

Well, I'd say that's just about within the measurement resolution of what I just described. Thanks.
No matter how many mods you do, if you want to go significantly faster you need to disable the limiter or go to larger rear tires or change the sprocket ratio.

C.A.R.B. is the "California Air Resources Board", not short for a carburetor. Emmissions come from the exhaust, not from a carburetor or fuel injector.
