Its going to take a few mods to get 80's.

 

83 stock is a little far fetched. maybe down hill with a tail wind...maybe. and adding pipes and such does not bump top speed much at all. if the stock motor can bounce off the rev-limiter then more hp wont rev out any faster thus not gaining any top speed. basically if your motor does not turn faster then your gears dont turn faster and you gain no top speed. yes it will get there faster but it does not go much if any faster.

a raptor has nut. a raptor is fast. but a BONE STOCK raptor WILL NOT go 83 it just cant.
i have a raptor, i love it, i mod. the s#*t out of it, and it MIGHT go 85

simply, a stock raptor will only get mid 70's
quit your bitchin and but some new exaust kits, or bigger sprockets, cause without mods. tat thing is NOT going to go 83.

I have a stock 05 660, jetted perfectly. It has run 76 mph with me on it, flat road, no grade. I ran out of room, so I feel like it would have gotten 77 or 78. Clocked with a Golden Eagle radar.
