i went and talked to my dealer today who got to ride one at the show and he said that it handles just like the predetor but so much smoother that you can do everything the predetor can but in a gear higher. said that the only way that you could tell that you had an IRS under your butt was over the rocks. polaris did something with that suspention that makes perform just like a SRA in the corners but a sportsman over rough turrain

Our local dealer rode one and said it did have it's advantages, though it doesn't corner as well as a SRA does under power. Off camber and high speed rough terrain were quite smooth, though the bottom end is still real anemic and could use a dose of power to compensate for the extra weight. Overall a good machine...in a different way.

polaris is soo annoying coming out with this, so it has irs. I mean couldn't they have pumped out like 50 more cc's displacement? then it would have made me happy, so o wow they made the pred again w/ different suspension.... huge waste imo

I know it would never happen. But they should have put their sportsman 800 engine in it! I'd buy one for sure! That is one powerful engine carrying around nearly 800lbs can't imagine the speed and power you'd get with it in a sport quad that's only 450lbs!!
