well till i ride one i will make my opinion of it.gald to see polaris try something new but i too think they went in the wrong direction with the outlaw.yeah it was made for trail riding but most people still do jumps from time to time with their sport quads.with the weight and more moving parts with the irs rear end i see more maintance with the outlaw over the pred

I think it's an awesome idea. I like to ride trails fast, and around here it is rocky, that atv has good GC and a smooth ride. I rarely use racks and the chain doesn't bother me to too much because it is up out of harms way, or so it looks.

I think a 500 DOHC would be more powerful than the 800efi, but I could be wrong.

If they made it a 4X4 it would be the best sport 4X4 on the market by a long shot, but I still might consider one the way it is!

i think its a great idea, i had a predator for a year and a half, but most of the trails i would ride had rocks in them, kept nailing the backend on rocks, this would be great for the riding i like, and on long trips the IRS would help alot for comfort as well

Im with you Rincon. With the addition of 4x4 it should be an automatic. 450lb 500cc pred engine 4x4 with irs and and automatic. Sounds perfect replacement for the Scrambler. that would tear the scrambler to peices. They would own that sport 4x4 market with that setup. This is what I am hoping for out of the future outlaws.

Thanks for the link. It doesnt appear to handle well at high speeds. All in all i think its a nice looking quad. Is the 450 a new/redesigned motor, or just a transplant from another poo quad?

If they made it 4X4 it would weight in around 600lb not 439lb, but they all ready have one the Scrambler 500 at 571lb It does not have IRS but if the did changed it would be in the 600lb range
