Going out for the first time this weekend. Can anyone tell me how long a tank of gas should last at say medium speed. The 125 is 2 Gal.. The 250 is 3 Gal.. Thanks

No really, I checked with a buddy that rides a yamaha ttr 125 and he said at least 2.5 to 3 hours of medium terrain. Personally I,ve done 30miles on a crf 250 in GNARLY terrain and made it back to camp with a comfy level. When I was a kid I had a Honda trail 70 with the gas tank under the seat and I seam to remember that one time I took a paintstick with me and checked the tank depth every half hour so I would know when it was time to head back to the house. Then I ran a tank empty using mile markers and had my folks drive it for me. turned out that little thing had a 45-50 mile range.

just don't venture to farr for too long and have fun you'll be fine! Unless you run out of gas of course![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
