Which ATV do you feel is best for mostly "spirited" trail riding and playing with an occasional slow speed, easy trail riding. Is the two stroke engine of the Trail Blazer well suited for some slow technical trails or would that be asking it to do something out of expertise? I am looking for an ATV that will spend 80% of its time playing and 20% of its time creeping around. Thanks

I would go with the TrailBlazer. It's a bit zippier than the T'Boss, plus does well with the slow technical stuff. Plus, once you get used to the bike, you can pipe and clutch it, and you will have a whole new bike.

Definatly the Trail Blazer over the Boss. I rode mine for years for everything from slow "putt-putt" hunting to high speed trail riding. Finally broke down & bought the Scrambler for myself & gave the wife the Blazer. Have never had a problem with fouled plugs over the years in the Blazer with all the slow speed use either. Besides, the Blazer has the sportier seat compared to the larger saddle on the Boss. And you can't compare the hop-up options.

I must be the black sheep, believe it or not i say go with the boss. It is still very sporty and fun, but it has a much better tight and technical ability then any 2-stroke. Another plus, is the fact that you can walk this bike over a stump or something where as my friends explorer 400, you have to hike the front end up do to the complete lack of low end. And it is a 400 2 -stroke, i can just immagine what the 250s are like as far as major trail obsicals. One more thing, when it comes to mud, why does it always seem like i'm pulling my other buddy's boss out of the pit? Anyway, the boss is better for taril riding, while i may give the nod to the blazer on the track or out on some REALLY agressive flat trails, Hills, tight and technical trails, and mud are definetly the bosses domain. just thought i'd put that in

I ride with 2 to 3 Trail Boss’s and my Trail Blazer is stock. This is only my thoughts, where we ride this is what I have seen; in other condition this could be different.

The Trail Boss seems to have more pulling power when pull other ATV’s out of the mud. The Trail Blazer has more speed and is louder. In the mud, the Trail Blazer seems to go through it a little better, but a lot of mud goes on you (but I like the mud). I don’t know if this is because I am always leading or if it is because the front end is a little lighter on the Trail Blazer. Hill climbing, I do see a little differences here, it might be because the Trail Boss has a little heaver front end than the Trail Blazer. Trail Riding I not sure it is about the same. The Trail Boss has a rack to haul a cooler on, so I am always needing one of my riding buddy’s to haul my cooler. I would go to the dealer and ride both bikes, more that one time each and then decide.
I love riding my Trail Blazer and my buddy’s love riding their Trail Boss’s

You can look at my link and see how both bikes perform.
