Oil Loss

Default Oil Loss

Have 2 2004 250 4X4, changed oil in both last night one is fine the other built up pressure and blew one of the lines off the oil cooler!!
Any ideas?

Which oil line? Into or out of the cooler? Out is on the right looking toward the front.

The oil line that came off was the one on the left looking forward.

That is the input hose which tells me you must have a restriction in the return line the cooler or the engine itself. Is the oil filter in correctly? I would suspect that it has to be something you did during the oil change.

You are right, the filter was aginst the return port. There was a burr on the protrusion that holds the spring that made the filter croocked.
