06 500 TRV, nice ride! My friend has one and I rode it all evening Tuesday night.

Went to the dealer yesterday to check the price on this Beast!! JEEPERS CHRISTMAS!!-, I am not about to pay over $8,200 bucks for a toy!! Dissapointed to say the very least![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

That's way to high. My guy is asking $7499 minus $200 dealer discount thru Aug. 31 and no freight or dealer setup of an '06 500TRV ( I called and asked just now).

 

Sounds like you would get a good deal friend. Wish the price was better here in Central Ky, that price of course was before Ky sales tax of 6%[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

 

I got steered right when I told a friend I was looking for a Cat. Just a 6% sales tax, I wish. Try 9.8% in the rural areas and the metro areas can be as much as 11%. Use the Arctic Cat site's dealer locator and call around. It will probably save you money in the end, even if you call a dozen places and end up having to drive 100 miles.

 

I will keep calling around, I want an big Cat but will settle for something else if I need to. Just want to ride!! Had dirt bikes and street bikes my whole life untill recently sold them all. I am missing having something around to ride.

Hey Poosey, you called Bells Suzuki yet? They usually have decent prices on Cats. But $7,500 for a toy is too much to me. That is getting into used 4x4 pickup truck range... Geez....

I was trying to avoid Bells!! I had an incredibaly bad expierience with them a few yrs back, LOOOONG story. I am heading to Harrodsburg on Sat morning over to Lees Suzuki Kawasaki Yamaha, I have had work done there for yrs on my street bikes. Thanks though.

I gave up bikes (2 wheeled), except for my pit bike (well scooter really, a Honda Spree) in 1994 when I had a minor (yeah right) disagreement with a deer about who could use that portion of the road I was on. 30 + years of riding and when the big one happens it is 10 minutes from the state capitol at 10 AM in June no less. Damn near didn't survive either.
