Polaris has always promoted the Predator with 50hp so the engine is the same. But some of the other feature's will make this Outlaw better. The air box design is much better and alows the lid to be removed. No gap in the plastic. No longer a 4 link steering but back to a 2 link yet suppose to be better then the 4 link. Reverse is on the handel bars instead of under fuel tank. Dummy lights, choke. and key switch are no longer on the handel bar clamb, so no need to find a clamp to hold lights when changing bars. Plus this Pic sure looks awesome. Outlaw

I posted this on the other sites and got alot of questions about it. I got to go to Nashville with my brother-in-law/Polaris dealer who sponsors me. Since I didn't have to go to all the dealer meetings, I spent all my time at the proving grounds and rode the new Outlaw for three days. I would go back to the Hotel at the display area and drill the engineers of it with questions. I got a real feel for what it is all about. It handled alot better than the Troy Lee or the regular pred, which is what I race. Off caber jumps where like half throttle on the Pred and after I got used to the Outlaw, I was hitting them wide open in 3rd. If I had tried that on the Pred, it would have tossed me off. The ground clearance is unreal. It really soaked up the bumps in the rear alot better than the Pred. It seems to be strongly built. They said that they had over a thousand miles on the same one in testing with no failure in the new style rear end. I am getting a new quad this year and I am leaning towards the Outlaw. I still have plenty of time to decide though.
