Default explorer 400 2stroke mods

I have a 98 explorer, I trail ride with 700 and 750 4 strokes. It does very well in the trails and hill climbs, in the open they can outrun me. I was wondering what I could do my stock 400 to beef it up a little. Exhaust, reeds, etc.
I would appreciate any assistance.

Man the 400 explorer is a beast waiting to be unleashed. With a pipe, porting, clutching and higher compression (12:1), you will be right up with those guys no problem. Rick Ritter at RcR can hook you up with everything you need. He's the best in the buisness. 618-644-3211.

OH yeah. Welcome to the forums.

Only way to go on a 400 Explorer os Sportsman is Dyonoport you wont loose any lowend power due to having to clutch it too high.I have ran los of pipes and the only other pipe to compare for a UTE is the Aaen Torquer but it needs to be clutch but makes awsome power in the mid range wher ethe Dynoport makes it from bottom to top with stock clutching.

Hey Brad have you ever seen a heavily modded Explorer in mudbog or pull competitions? I hear they can really kick it.
